A little Selah

A few weeks ago we took Naomi to Camp Selah, my parents' little relaxation spot in the Massachusetts woods. The trip up was a little rough, the trip back a little less rough, but our time there was wonderful! My parents and my younger sister were there, and we had a relaxing time just being together. The weather was rainy on our first day but the sun came out on the second day so we got a little time down at the pond. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip!
Okay, so this is what my child looks like when she's in the middle of a "i've been in the car way too long" meltdown. Fun times. Especially when we're on a highway, or in traffic, or stuck at red lights, or other situations where there's not much we can do but listen to the screaming. But fortunately, we arrived soon after this particular meltdown (one of many that day), and once she was in her Poppy's arms, Naomi was just fiiiine. (see below)

Here are some pictures from our afternoon at the pond:

Here we have Naomi doing one of her very favorite things - staring at and studying someone's clothes. Here it happens to be Grammy's swimsuit with which she's enthralled. She can go 10 minutes like this, studying like she's going to have to recreate that pattern the next day or something.

This next one i'm including because it makes me literally belly-laugh out loud every time i see it. This is my sister and my dad, being complete goofballs together, which they happen to be very good at doing. LOL

I'll end with another staring event - this one from our last morning there. Apparently Naomi felt the need to memorize the paisley pattern on Grammy's shirt...perhaps she's planning a stamping/scrapping/papercrafting project using these colors??! Who knows what goes on in that little brain...
